Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Latrobe Arundel (ranked 16 p4p, 34 weight class) and Cletus McDonald (ranked 3 p4p, 7 weight class). Arundel's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Shook Ones. The crowd seem to be enjoying McDonald 's choice of entrance music: Merle Haggard - Okie From Muskogee. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 26 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Latrobe Arundel!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are James Glass, James Ackerman and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A telegraphed right hand from Arundel misses the target.
McDonald connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head.
McDonald has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Arundel avoids the body shot from McDonald .
McDonald throws a body kick, spinning off balance
and Arundel connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
It looks like Cletus McDonald has been cut.
Arundel throws an ugly left hook that misses
and McDonald counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
McDonald throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
McDonald gets off balance looking for a body kick
and Arundel cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
McDonald fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Arundel swung with a counter punch to the body but it didn't connect.
McDonald misses with a takedown
and Arundel counters with a huge left! McDonald is in big trouble! He's backing up but Arundel isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save McDonald from any more damage. A dominating finish by Arundel!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:41 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Latrobe Arundel!

After winning the bout, Latrobe Arundel thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.
In defeat, Cletus McDonald stepped up to the mic, saying 'A country boy can survive'.
