Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between DP Winner (ranked 3730 p4p, 3685 weight class) and Dakkon Kaddari (ranked 483 p4p, 476 weight class). Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, DP Winner!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Dakkon Kaddari!
The judges for this bout are William Peck, Yves DeLean and Gregory Folan.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Winner takes a head kick and keeps coming.

Winner closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Winner throwing shots but Kaddari is blocking nicely.
Winner thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Kaddari's head.
Winner is thwarting Kaddari's attempts to control the position.
Kaddari might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Winner haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Winner working the head and body with strikes.
Winner is nestled in close to Kaddari, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Winner seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Kaddari is trying to maintain the position but Winner is very close to passing his half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Winner working some ground and pound from close in. He's looking to maintain this position and strike for a while by the looks of things... although he'll probably advance to full mount in a minute now I've said that.

The fighters are battling for position here. Kaddari manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Winner tries to free his leg and advance position but Kaddari is retaining full guard.
Winner passes into half guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Winner landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Winner has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.
Kaddari wants to improve his position but Winner is controlling well.
Winner scores with a couple of good hammerfists.
Winner not landing any meaningful shots this time.
Kaddari gets full guard.
Winner slips nicely into half guard.

Winner throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Kaddari is staying active underneath Winner, who seems content to just control the action from this position.
Kaddari felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.
Winner prevents Kaddari from standing back up.

Kaddari is pressing down on Winner's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.
Winner throws a big elbow that misses.

The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Winner passes Kaddari's left leg - he's now in half guard.
Winner not doing much here.
Kaddari is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though.
Winner thows a huge punch but Kaddari dodges it nicely.
Kaddari wants to get back to his feet.
Kaddari has his hands clasped together around Winner's back. He's all about the action.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.
Kaddari misses with a body shot.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Kaddari throws a solid leg kick but Winner takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Kaddari.
Kaddari slaps away a takedown attempt from Winner, before circling back to the center of the mat.
Kaddari looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Good standup being displayed there by Kaddari as he connects with a hook.
Kaddari throws a head kick that misses

and Winner counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Winner.

Kaddari manages to break the clinch.
Winner ducks right into an uppercut from Kaddari.
Whack! Kaddari lands a heavy head kick that drops Winner. The ref tackles Kaddari to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Winner was done.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:37 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Dakkon Kaddari!
A relieved looking Dakkon Kaddari thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
