The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Chin Strip.
Oliveira throws a hook to the side of Chin Strip's head but Chin Strip sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.

Chin Strip throws a hook but Oliveira blocks it.
Oliveira uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chin Strip.

Chin Strip lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent.

Oliveira feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Chin Strip is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Oliveira has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Chin Strip is looking to defend but Oliveira has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Chin Strip! Oliveira pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Chin Strip taps out and this one is all over!

After the fight, Renato Oliveira was humble in paying tribute to his opponent but made it clear he wants to go on to bigger and better things. It seemed to go down well with the crowd who cheered him loudly.
