Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between CG Mannheim (ranked 5289 p4p, 6700 weight class) and Glenn Welch (ranked 232 p4p, 275 weight class). This should be a great matchup!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mannheim misses with a straight right.

Welch throws a right and a left that Mannheim avoids nicely.
Welch ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Mannheim moves away.

A looping hook to the body misses from Welch. Mannheim does a little dance to reset his feet.
A quick step to the side and Mannheim tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Welch seems to be working for a kimura but Mannheim defends the submission attempt.

Welch drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Welch jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Welch has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at EFC Gym. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one.
