The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Picogram throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Baird sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Picogram connects with the punch.
Baird lets the fists fly and connects with a left straight followed by a right hook.
Baird thows a left - swing and a miss!
Baird misses the shot to the body.
Picogram tries a head kick but it misses.
Baird fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
Picogram drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Baird connects with a single shot there.

Picogram throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Baird throws a right and a left that both miss.
Baird misses with a looping right.
Baird has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Brazilian Top Team in the buildup to the fight.
Picogram misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Baird.

Picogram loads up on a big right hand but Baird slips the punch.

and Picogram counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Baird throws a looping overhand right but Picogram ducks down to avoid it.
Baird throws an ugly left hook that misses
enabling Picogram to counter with a crisp jab.
Baird scores with a jab to the jaw of his opponent.
Baird drops his hands momentarily and Picogram takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.

It looks like Corey Baird has been cut.

Picogram loads up on a big right hand but Baird slips the punch.

Picogram takes one on the chin but keeps coming.
Baird lands with a hook. Picogram tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Baird circles away before darting back in with a big straight right hand. It connects beautifully and sends Picogram tumbling to the canvas! He's out cold! Baird wins by KO!
