Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Peter Narz (ranked 1026 p4p, 1550 weight class) and Alex Murray (ranked 65 p4p, 88 weight class). The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 16 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Alex Murray!
The judges for this bout are Tatsuya Matsuyama, Shigeki Sano and Yukihiro Shimada.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Narz with a body punch. A glancing blow.
Murray gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Narz.
Murray lands with a good body shot.
Narz listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.
Narz definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Murray plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!
Narz misses with a kick to the body.
Murray swings for the body but Narz moves out of range.
Narz appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick.

Narz throws a push kick but Murray slaps the foot to one side.

Murray ducks under a wild hook from Narz.

Narz takes a swing at Murray's ribcage but misses.
Murray is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Murray lands with an uppercut that bounces Narz off the cage and back into range.

Narz was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger.

Narz lands a leg kick that knocks Murray off balance momentarily.
Murray lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Narz circles away quickly and effectively.

and Murray counters with a nice uppercut.
Peter Narz is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.

Murray tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion.
Murray clinches.
Murray throws an elbow but it misses.
Murray fails to land with a short punch on the inside.
Narz tries to throw a body punch but Murray avoids it by throwing Narz back against the cage.

Murray lands an elbow just above Narz 's eye.
Narz avoids the elbow strike from Murray, against the cage.
Murray pushes off and fires off an elbow that misses, before clinching up again, against the cage.
Murray lands a left hand that snaps the head of Narz backwards.
Murray has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Narz uses from the top position.
Murray controls Narz momentarily but Narz frees himself.

A big head kick from Narz and Murray is sent sprawling to the canvas!

It looks like Alex Murray has been cut.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Murray is still in real trouble! Can Narz finish him?
Narz is looking to work some ground and pound but Murray has wrist control.
Murray is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Narz defends well.

Narz is looking to secure an arm. He's managed it! He's pivoting for an armbar - that looks tight! But Murray has managed to get out of it and now he's in a dominant position. Nice work from Murray!
Murray postures up in Narz's guard and throws a big left but Narz blocks it.
Murray stops Narz from standing up.

Narz bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Murray's guard.
Narz advances to half guard.
Murray wants to get back to his feet.
Murray wants to improve his position but Narz is controlling well.
Narz looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Murray seems to have recovered his senses.
Narz tries to pass to full mount but Murray defends it.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.
Peter Narz dominated that round.
The cut man is working on Alex Murray's cut.
That's time! Narz's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Murray seems to be squinting his left eye. Perhaps he got a poke in that previous exchange. Narz shows no mercy and swarms him with a barage of strikes! Murray is backing up but Narz catches him with a final right hook that drops him! Murray covers up and the referee steps in to end the fight! Narz Jumps to his feet and flashes his guns to the crowd. Oh yeah, baby! How'd you like them apples?!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:05 of round 2, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Peter Narz!
Peter Narz tried to hype himself up post fight but didn't word it too well and it ended up with him sounding like a bit of a tool.
Alex Murray was interviewed post fight and said 'No one likes seeing their opponent's hand raised, but that just means that they were the better man today. My team at 3Band MMA and I will break down this match and make the proper changes for my next camp.'.
