Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Takumi Sagaki (ranked 771 p4p, 714 weight class) and Kidney Stone (ranked 44 p4p, 41 weight class). Sagaki comes to the cage accompanied by One Piece - AMV - We Are! (Full Song). Stone has chosen Pour Some Sugar On Me by Def Leppord as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 22 - 8 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Takumi Sagaki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 20 - 10 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Kidney Stone!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Bishop, Sam Margolis and Chris Edwards.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Stone displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Sagaki throws out the jab.
It seemed like Stone was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Stone scores with a jab to the head.
Stone misses with a kick to the body.
Sagaki connects with a leg kick. He turned his hip over nicely there.
No luck for Sagaki with that takedown attempt.

Sagaki trying to control the action but Stone is working from the bottom.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sagaki is really struggling to control Stone but he's trying to hold on to the position.

The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Sagaki connects with a nice short shot to Stone's temple.
Sagaki is looking to take a break and control but Stone is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.

Sagaki seems to be looking for submissions.
Sagaki throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage.
Stone felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it.

We've been hearing good reports from Sagaki's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

Stone throws a lazy right hand but Sagaki sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.

Sagaki goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Stone has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Sagaki but great work by Stone.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.

Sagaki wants to control the pace but Stone is squirming around nicely.

Sagaki closes the distance and clinches up with Stone, looking for a takedown. Sagaki pushes Stone against the cage but Stone circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

Sagaki goes for a double leg but Stone avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Stone continues to drive forward.

Stone has a couple of punches blocked by Sagaki.
Sagaki tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Stone just stands there and leans against the cage.
