Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yaden Dhargey (ranked 5093 p4p, 3238 weight class) and Jakob Rolf (ranked 496 p4p, 353 weight class). Dhargey comes to the cage accompanied by Gyallu - Anthem of Tibet. Rolf has chosen AVGN Theme Song as his entrance music. Jakob Rolf has the power to score a knockout today if he connects clean with Yaden Dhargey's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rolf throws a jab when Dhargey was well out of range.
Rolf lands with a straight right. Dhargey didn't see that one coming.
Rolf just misses with a punch to the body.
Rolf misses with an uppercut.
Dhargey looks to land a right hand but Rolf moved out of range.
Jakob Rolf seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Rolf throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Rolf misses with a looping left.
Rolf throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dhargey is looking to counter the offense by Rolf and move into the clinch.
Dhargey looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.

Dhargey fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Rolf, pushing him back against the cage.

Dhargey has a couple of punches blocked by Rolf.

Rolf misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Rolf swings wildly with an uppercut but Dhargey uses good head movement to avoid it.
Dhargey blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Dhargey jumps into guard, dragging Rolf to the mat.
Rolf trying to control the position from guard on top but Dhargey is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

Dhargey had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Rolf defends it easily.
Rolf wants to pass the guard but Dhargey is keeping the position.
Rolf really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Dhargey. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

Rolf controls the pace of the fight for a moment.
Rolf stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Dhargey swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Dhargey has his foot on Rolf's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Rolf works his way back into a safe position though.
Rolf works a leg free and moves into half guard.

That's two minutes gone in the round.
Rolf tries to pass the half guard into mount. Dhargey knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
Rolf uses his free foot to push down on Dhargey's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Dhargey.

Dhargey tries to lock up and control but Rolf gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Rolf misses the jab.
Dhargey seemed to be looking to counter by closing the distance.
A telegraphed right hand from Dhargey misses the target.
Rolf has been the more effective fighter overall so far.
Rolf throws a hook to the side of Dhargey's head but Dhargey sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
No joy there for Rolf, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Rolf scores with a jab. Dhargey acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
Rolf throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Rolf throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Dhargey slips a jab from Rolf.
We've been informed that Rolf has been working hard on his conditioning in the buildup to the fight.
Rolf swings for the body but Dhargey moves out of range.
Dhargey wants to take advantage of his opponent's missed offense by moving into the clinch.

Dhargey decides to pull guard.

Dhargey working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Rolf doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Rolf manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Dhargey is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! Rolf has his hands clasped together but Dhargey extends and breaks Rolf's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! Nice BJJ displayed there by Dhargey.
