Coming up we have a super heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Roberto Congo (ranked 6859 p4p, 2255 weight class) and Olaf Hrungnir (ranked 179 p4p, 88 weight class). These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hrungnir throws a lazy right hand but Congo sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Congo connects with a slap. Keep your fist closed son.

It looks like Olaf Hrungnir has been cut.
Congo uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Hrungnir.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hrungnir throws a right and a left that Congo avoids nicely.
A little feinted left hand from Congo on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Congo lunges at Hrungnir with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Hrungnir's hand.
Hrungnir on the receiving end of a decent leg kick there by Congo. Congo obviously looking to wear him down.

Some bone on bone action there as Hrungnir checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Congo lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Hrungnir has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Hrungnir and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Hrungnir wants to clinch up but Congo keeps it at a distance.

Congo cracks Hrungnir with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!

Congo moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

and Congo counters with a nice low kick that buckles Hrungnir's knee momentarily.

Congo drops a shoulder and throws a biiiig uppercut that drops Hrungnir onto his butt! Hrungnir pops straight back to his feet to convince the referee that he's OK to continue.

That has opened up Olaf Hrungnir's cut even more.
