Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Matteo Bottura!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Helios Primo!
The judges for this bout are Tiny Johnson, Chris Downing and Cecil Peabody.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Primo closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Primo fails with an attempt to clinch.
Bottura connects with a body shot that sends Primo's belly button to the back.
Primo drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
Primo drops his hands momentarily and Bottura takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Primo is rocked!
Bottura cracks Primo with a nasty uppercut that draws ooohs from the crowd and sends Primo tumbling backwards onto the mat. He tries to recover but Bottura pounces and lands a hail of unanswered strikes that forces the referee to step in to end the fight! Primo is not happy but he gave the referee no choice!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:17 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Matteo Bottura!
