Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between George Walker (ranked 6258 p4p, 5136 weight class) and Albano Taborda (ranked 633 p4p, 580 weight class). Walker kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Uruz. George Walker is staring across the cage at his opponent, tweaking his nipples... Tweaking his own nipples that is.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Taborda looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Walker is fending him off so far but Taborda persists. Nope, Walker circles away and we're back to standing.
Walker tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.

Walker closes the distance and pushes Taborda back into the cage.
Taborda is working for takedown but Walker is calmly controlling the position for now.

Taborda breaks the clinch.
Taborda tries to shoot in for a takedown. He's got hold of a leg but Walker swivels and escapes.
Walker went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.
George Walker has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Albano Taborda.
A nice leg kick from Walker, right into the meat of the thigh.
Taborda misses with a takedown attempt - Walker sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Taborda changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Walker tries to avoid it but Taborda manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Walker to the ground. Walker escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

It looks like Albano Taborda has been cut.
Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Walker.
Walker defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Taborda.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

We've been hearing good reports from Walker's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Taborda is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Walker gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt.

Taborda gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Walker.

Walker breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Taborda shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Walker but Walker pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Taborda has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Walker finds it's way round the side to connect with Taborda's head.
Taborda finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the cage, ducking and weaving under Walker's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Taborda falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
