And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are John Kavanagh, John Roberts and Eddie Farnsworth.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cromathius dives in and scores a takedown into Elizondo's guard.
Elizondo pushes Cromathius off and gets back to his feet.
Elizondo decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
Cromathius is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Elizondo pulls his head out easily.
Elizondo wants to free his trapped foot but Cromathius is holding on for dear life with his legs.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Elizondo is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and Cromathius defends it well.
Cromathius looking for submissions from an awkward position here.
Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground!
Elizondo is working for a submission of some sort.
Cromathius slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.

Elizondo works a leg free and moves into half guard.
Elizondo looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.
Cromathius actively working from the bottom here.
Elizondo is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
Cromathius wants to get back to full guard.
Cromathius is trying to control but can't.
Cromathius wants to sweep but Elizondo has passed to side control!
Cromathius is looking to regain half guard here but Elizondo keeps moving and retains side control.

Elizondo is trying to get an arm triangle but Cromathius is defending well.
Cromathius manages to get one leg in to regain half guard.
Elizondo is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there.
Cromathius is trying to get back to full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Cromathius is looking to control Elizondo's leg but it's slowly edging free. Can Cromathius avoid being mounted?
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Cromathius might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Elizondo haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Gaizka Elizondo showed his dominance in that final round.
