Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Maxim Volkov (ranked 2211 p4p, 4039 weight class) and Paul Raver (ranked 265 p4p, 479 weight class). I'm sure you'll be fascinated to know that I was talking to some pointless Z list celebrity before the fight and he thought that Paul Raver was going to win. Let's see if he was right.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Raver looks for the body kick but Volkov saw that one coming.
Volkov looks to land a right hand but Raver moved out of range.
Volkov just misses with a punch to the body.
Volkov scores with a crisp jab that stopped Raver in his tracks.
It looks like Paul Raver has been cut.
Raver misses with a looping left.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it!
Raver misses with a kick to the body.
Raver pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Volkov drops his shoulder and cracks Raver with a huge uppercut! Raver goes down! Can Volkov finish him?
Raver is rocked!

Volkov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.
Raver is still in real trouble! Can Volkov finish him?
Volkov postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Raver covers up, he's hurt! Volkov keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Volkov and the ref steps in to end the fight! Volkov can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.
