The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kekkonen throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nordquist throws out a counter right but Kekkonen avoids it with no problem.
Nordquist throws a combination that misses
letting Kekkonen counter with a right hand.
Kekkonen looking to take his opponent's legs away with the low kicks.
Nordquist on the wrong end of a decent looking cross there.
Nordquist is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Kekkonen.
Nordquist fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Nordquist takes one to the side of the head.
The fighters circling - Kekkonen throws out the jab but it was never going to land.
Nordquist tries to land a front kick but Kekkonen steps back. That was a bit too telegraphed.
Nordquist swings wildly with a couple of big hooks
and Kekkonen counters with a nice leg kick.
Kekkonen walks into a jab.

It looks like Ultima Kekkonen has been cut.
Nordquist cracks Kekkonen with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Danga de danga de dang - Kekkonen scores with a four punch combination!
Kekkonen ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Nordquist throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Nordquist darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
Kekkonen lands a nice hook to Nordquist's body. Nordquist takes it in his stride and looks to land his own strikes.
Kekkonen definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
Kekkonen steps in with a hook that catches Nordquist right on the chin and knocks him to the floor! Kekkonen follows him down with more strikes and that's all she wrote! Nordquist looks absolutely devastated.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ultima Kekkonen!
In his post fight interview, Ultima Kekkonen started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
