The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGuire lands with a right hand.
Some wild striking there from McGuire.
McGuire uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Chambers has time to react.

Chambers rushes McGuire and presses him up against the cage.
McGuire can't find room to land a body shot as Chambers controls the action.
Chambers fails to pull the fight into his guard.
McGuire misses with a body punch.
Chambers tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. McGuire smiles and moves away.

Chambers moves into range and clinches up with McGuire.
Chambers tries to pull guard but McGuire holds him up against the cage and eventually Chambers drops back down to his feet.
Payton McGuire has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nathan Chambers.

Still in the clinch, McGuire scores with a nice short uppercut.
McGuire lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Chambers backwards.

McGuire digs a right hand underneath Chambers's ribcage. Chambers let out a lung full of air as it connected.

Chambers looks winded!
McGuire throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Chamberss head.
McGuire creates some distance for himself and unleashes a massive uppercut that sends Chambers's eyes rolling into the back of his head! Chambers drops to his knees and McGuire pours it on with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!
