Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Khabib Smith (ranked 4425 p4p, 3758 weight class) and Garry Tonon (ranked 0 p4p, 467 weight class). Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.

The judges for this bout are Chris Downing, Alan Glass and Stewart Dunkirk.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
A combination from Tonon does no damage.

Smith feints and as Tonon raises his hands in defense, Smith changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.

Smith changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Tonon looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

That was a close second round but I would say that Khabib Smith will probably get the nod.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare each other down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!

Tonon shoots in looking for a takedown but Smith manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Tonon's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Tonon wants to clinch up but Smith keeps it at a distance.

Smith shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Tonon's guard.

Tonon thows some rabbit punches from the bottom but they don't do any damage.

Khabib Smith has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Garry Tonon.
Smith moves into range and connects with a jab.
Tonon throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Smith's waist but Smith gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Tonon off to one side.

Smith feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
