Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rodney Farva (ranked 3067 p4p, 2227 weight class) and Islandiano Islandish (ranked 322 p4p, 254 weight class). Islandiano Islandish will no doubt be looking to use his reach advantage to good effect.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 5 - 4 - 1, fighting out of New York, Rodney Farva!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Islandiano Islandish!
The judges for this bout are Don Winkell, Jack Bonds and Percy O'Donnell.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Islandish moves in looking to clinch but Farva pushes him off.

Farva tries to keep at a distance but Islandish has taken the fight into the clinch.
Farva has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Islandish after a bit of a struggle.
Farva tries to score a body lock takedown but Islandish shows good agility there to stay on his feet.
Farva avoiding damage as Islandish throws knees to the body.

Farva turns his back and goes for a hip toss. It's a bit messy but it gets the job done and Farva manages to end up in side control.

Islandish sneaks out the side door and pushes Farva away - he's back to his feet. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape.
Islandish tries to close the distance and clinch but Farva swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
A little feinted left hand from Farva on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

Farva shoots in and scores a nice double leg takedown into half guard.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Farva is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
Islandish is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Farva scores with a couple of nice shots.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Farva prevents Islandish from improving his position.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Islandish can do anything to dispel that myth.
Islandish is trying to stand back up but Farva is controlling him
Farva is keeping good posture, landing some ground and pound.
Islandish pushes Farva off but Farva dives into side control.
Islandish takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.

Islandish is rocked!
Farva lands a strong strike to the head of Islandish. That's dazed him! Farva looking to finish here. Islandish is waving his arms around trying to block but he's hurt badly - Farva lands more strikes and the referee steps in to end the fight!
