And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Van Der Veer Jr!
The judges for this bout are Hugh Johnson, Chris Dean and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Juntti Jr lands a really nice looking cross but Der Veer Jr seems unphased.
Juntti Jr wants to clinch up but Der Veer Jr keeps it at a distance.
Der Veer Jr checks a leg kick.
Juntti Jr gets a clinch.
Juntti Jr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Der Veer Jr has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.
Juntti Jr lands a body shot.
Der Veer Jr tries to score a power double leg takedown but Juntti Jr sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Der Veer Jr somewhat.
Der Veer Jr shoots for a takedown but Juntti Jr saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Der Veer Jr fails to land the takedown.
Jouko Juntti Jr has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Van Der Veer Jr.
Der Veer Jr shoots in looking for a takedown. Juntti Jr tries to sprawl out of it but Der Veer Jr keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Juntti Jr manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Juntti Jr fails with an attempt to clinch.
Juntti Jr throws out a powerful jab.

Juntti Jr connects with a good right hand that stumbles Der Veer Jr. Der Veer Jr circles away out of range and recomposes himself.
Juntti Jr walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Der Veer Jr drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Juntti Jr swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Der Veer Jr's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:05 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Jouko Juntti Jr!
