Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Keisuke Matsuzaka (ranked 822 p4p, 1426 weight class) and Psiris Fuhren (ranked 122 p4p, 211 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Fuhren's choice of entrance music: Everybody Dies. I can't wait for this one - let's get the fighter introductions out of the way and get this one started!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of 9 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Keisuke Matsuzaka! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of 7 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Psiris Fuhren! The judges for this bout are Ben Watson, Ron Honeybunn and Steve Erwin.
 The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Matsuzaka displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Fuhren throws out the jab. We've been informed that Fuhren has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result. Fuhren keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from Matsuzaka. A cross from Fuhren lands. Fuhren tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Matsuzaka paws at him with a jab and circles away. Matsuzaka is looking to counter with a shot to the body. Psiris Fuhren seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Fuhren misses the jab. Matsuzaka misses with a jab, cross combination.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fuhren tries to close the distance and clinch but Matsuzaka swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away. Fuhren fakes a jab and then connects with a hook. Matsuzaka avoids the body shot from Fuhren.
 That's one minute gone in the round. Fuhren misses with a body shot
and Matsuzaka counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Matsuzaka misses the shot to the body. Fuhren now looks to counter with a shot at the body. Fuhren takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Fuhren throws a combination that misses
and Matsuzaka counters with a crisp right hand that drops Fuhren! Matsuzaka lets Fuhren back up to his feet, looking for a finish!
 Fuhren is rocked! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Fuhren misses with a jab to the body
and Matsuzaka counters with a powerful cross that connects right on the chin and the lights go out! A massive one punch knock out!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:36 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Keisuke Matsuzaka! Keisuke Matsuzaka decided to hype himself up post fight. It was going well but he went on about it a bit too long and the crowd turned on him a little. In defeat, Psiris Fuhren stepped up to the mic, saying 'We were in exchanges...we were in exchanges...and I felt stiff. '.
