PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Zigalow Lazarov (ranked 2981 p4p, 2150 weight class) and Nils Norling (ranked 381 p4p, 299 weight class). Lazarov comes to the cage accompanied by Smoke on the Water by Deep Purple. Norling is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: Scarlet - Age of seduction. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Norling throws an overhand right that lands on Lazarov's shoulder, as Lazarov tries to avoid the shot.
Norling uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Lazarov has time to react.
Lazarov goes for a double leg but Norling avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Norling continues to drive forward.
Lazarov looking for a takedown.
Lazarov has Norling pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Norling manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Zigalow Lazarov. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Norling scores with a nice hook to the head.
Lazarov's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Norling lands a right hand that snaps the head of Lazarov backwards.
Lazarov can't get the takedown.
Norling lands a hook to the side of the head.
Lazarov tries for a takedown. No joy.
Lazarov is working for takedown but Norling is calmly controlling the position for now.

Norling's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Norling connects with a body shot.
Lazarov misses with a takedown attempt
and Norling counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Norling ducks down and throws a hook to the body.

OH! Lazarov has been rocked by a huge right hand and is in deep trouble! Norling smells blood and charges in for the finish! Norling unloads a vicious overhand right and connects to the jaw of Lazarov sending him face first to the canvas! Unbelievable!

A less than humble Nils Norling misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
In defeat, Zigalow Lazarov stepped up to the mic, saying 'Back to the aquarium '.
