The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Muller shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Beer as he jumps to the side.
A countering left hand to the body from Beer misses.
Muller tries to close the distance and clinch but Beer swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Beer circles away from the clinch attempt
and Beer counters with a straight right hand.
Muller doesn't manage to clinch there - Beer circles away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
The fight stays on the outside here - Muller looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Beer unleashes a big counter combination but Muller bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Muller thuds his right hand into Beer's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.

Muller looks to land a combination but Beer avoids it well.
Beer looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Muller moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination.

Oooooh!!! Muller has knocked Beer down with a huge combo! Muller steps away and waves a wobbly Beer back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!

It looks like Tony Beer has been cut.

and Beer counters with a one-two to the body.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Muller tries to score a power double leg takedown but Beer sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Muller somewhat.

Muller tries to close the distance and clinch up against the ropes but Beer paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Muller connects with a right hand. Beer shakes it off.

Beer leaves Muller with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Beer unleashes a big counter combination but Muller bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.

Muller pounces like a tiger and cracks Beer with a vicious hook! Beer is down but not out! Muller follows up with more strikes forcing the ref to jump in and stop it!
