The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Defoe avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
King throws a jab but it's blocked by Defoe.
Defoe digs a good hook to King's body.
King moves into the clinch.
King misses with a body punch.
Defoe stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Defoe tries to circle away but King has him pinned against the cage.
King misses with a short punch on the inside.

King tries a body shot but Defoe blocks it.
King tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Defoe's elbow.
Defoe working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely.
King misses with a knee strike.

Defoe feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends King sprawling to the canvas! King rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Defoe finish him?!
Defoe looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
King takes a kick to the body and keeps moving.

Defoe moves away from the strike by King.
King misses with a hook
and Defoe counters with a nice body kick.
Harley King seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

Defoe moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Defoe drops King with a naaaaasty hook - King is in real trouble here! Defoe dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
