Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Donald Fisher (ranked 1065 p4p, 1128 weight class) and Nou Hematopoye (ranked 130 p4p, 135 weight class). Fingers crossed for an exciting fight - I'm sure both fighters are looking for a nice under the table bonus!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

It looks like Nou Hematopoye has been cut.
Hematopoye misses with a lunging right hand

and Fisher decides to take the opportunity to score a takedown. He's landed in Hematopoye's guard.

Fisher doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Fisher is on top in guard.

A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Fisher accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand.

Hematopoye is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fisher defends well.

Fisher throws a strike but Hematopoye rolls with it and manages to sweep. Now he's in guard on top.

Fisher looking to sweep using the butterfly guard but Hematopoye puts pay to that idea as he passes nicely into half guard.

Fisher lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.

Fisher content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because Hematopoye has locked up a guillotine! Hematopoye's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Fisher is holding on here and Hematopoye must be using up a lot of energy. Fisher has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! Hematopoye gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!

A relieved looking Nou Hematopoye thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
