Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Psion Phyrrus!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Roberto Jimenez!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Tarja Halkonen.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Jimenez dives in and grabs Phyrrus's left leg, looking for a takedown. Phyrrus pushes down on Jimenez's head and hops out.
Phyrrus jabbing away but nothing is landing.
Phyrrus throws out a loose jab but Jimenez uses good head movement to avoid it.
Phyrrus fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Jimenez looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Jimenez shoots for a takedown but Phyrrus saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Nice shot lands for Phyrrus.
No luck for Jimenez with that takedown attempt.
Psion Phyrrus has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Roberto Jimenez.
Phyrrus throws a body shot but no joy.
Roberto Jimenez seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Phyrrus misses with a hook. Jimenez ducked under it nicely.

Jimenez throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Phyrrus was covering up waiting for the punch and Jimenez finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Jimenez wants to control from the top but Phyrrus keeps moving.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Jimenez tries to move to mount but Phyrrus blocks the move with his legs.
You can see the frustration on Phyrrus's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Jimenez wants to lay and pray for a moment but Phyrrus keeps working.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.

Jimenez thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
Phyrrus tries to buck Jimenez off but Jimenez is having none of it.
Phyrrus can't do much from the bottom here.
Jimenez tries to move into full mount but can't pass Phyrrus's legs.
Phyrrus is positioning himself to get back to half guard.

Jimenez advances to mount.

Jimenez is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Phyrrus to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Phyrrus shrugs it off.

The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Phyrrus lands with a hook. Jimenez tried to avoid it but it clipped the top of his head.

It looks like Roberto Jimenez has been cut.
Phyrrus lands with a precision combination! Left, right, uppercut and Jimenez falls flat on his face, eyes wide open but he's out!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:21 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Psion Phyrrus!
Psion Phyrrus spent the whole post fight interview bigging himself up. It didn't go down that well with the fans after a while as they thought it was a bit arrogant.
