Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Nilson Acacio (ranked 2564 p4p, 2847 weight class) and Thorvald Nansen (ranked 294 p4p, 318 weight class). Nansen has chosen Benny Jamz - Torden as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Nilson Acacio!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Thorvald Nansen!
The judges for this bout are Colin Fray, Micheangelo Fripello and Paul Gruel.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Acacio misses the shot to the body.
Nansen slips a jab from Acacio.
Nansen is clearly looking to counter with head kicks.
Thorvald Nansen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Nansen throws a front kick that sends Acacio stumbling back into the cage.
Nansen with a nice looking leg kick. You could hear that one land in a back row.
Nansen throws a body kick but he was well out of range there.
Nice defenses there by Nansen.
Nansen displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Acacio throws out the jab.
Nansen closes the distance and clinches.
Acacio lands with a short head shot on the inside.
Nansen tries to break free but Acacio pushes him back against the cage.
Nansen lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Nansen lands a nice short elbow.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Nansen takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists.
Nansen is looking for a kimura but Acacio is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Nansen to get the leverage.
Nansen is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.

Acacio on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Acacio tries to get out of the position.

Nansen works to advance to full mount. Acacio defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Acacio can't escape the position.
Nansen pausing momentarily but resumes with a couple of decent strikes that do a bit of damage.
Nansen fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Nansen is landing with some decent strikes but Acacio is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Nansen lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Nansen controlling the pace for now.
Nansen lands a heavy elbow.
Nansen is landing with some decent strikes but Acacio is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue.
Nansen has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Acacio takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
The referee warns Acacio that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
Acacio is rocked!
Nansen controlling the position easily from mount.
Nansen lands with some vicious ground and pound - can Acacio hang on?
Oh Acacio is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Acacio is breathing heavily.
Acacio takes a big shot to the dome and his eyes have rolled back in his head! Nansen's killer instinct has kicked in as he finishes the fight with more strikes. Impressive finish.
