Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 3 - 0, fighting out of New York, Mitch McGee!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of New York, Test Three!
The judges for this bout are John Roberts, Dean Styles and Reed Andrews.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
McGee is looking to clinch.
Three steps in looking to clinch after the strikes miss from McGee.

and Three counters by moving into the clinch. Good anticipation by Three.
McGee is struggling to control the position.
McGee throws a nice elbow but it doesn't land.
McGee is trying to break the clinch but Three has him pressed against the cage.
McGee definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight.
McGee tries to stall but Three uses the opportunity to gain a better position.

McGee tries to pull guard but Three holds him up against the cage and eventually McGee drops back down to his feet.
McGee jumps guard but Three stands there with McGee around his waist. McGee gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

McGee will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
McGee has Three pulled in close to control his posture.
Three tries to free his leg and advance position but McGee is retaining full guard.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
McGee shoots in for a double leg but Three sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Three tries to counter with a clinch but McGee shakes him off and moves away.
McGee closes the distance and clinches up with Three, looking for a takedown. McGee pushes Three against the cage but Three circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.
McGee fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Three avoids it really well and circles away.
McGee is breathing heavily.

and McGee connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

McGee dives in and grabs Three's left leg, looking for a takedown. Three pushes down on McGee's head and hops out.

McGee tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Three paws at him with a jab and circles away.

Three avoiding damage.
Three lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
McGee pushes Three back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
A head punch blocked on the inside by McGee.
McGee tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Three smiles and moves away.
Test Three is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Nice takedown defense from Three. No joy for McGee on that attempt.
McGee wants to clinch but Three slips to the side
and Three counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.
Three throws an overhand right that lands on McGee's shoulder, as McGee tries to avoid the shot.
Three swings and misses with a hook to the body.
McGee darts in looking for a takedown but Three gets double underhooks and turns McGee into the cage.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!
Three scores with a shoulder strike.
The referee calls for Three to work.
Three misses with a shot to the kidneys.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action!

McGee is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Three is defending well.
McGee lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Three backwards.
Three misses with a short punch on the inside.
Three prevents a body shot from McGee.
McGee tries to pull guard but Three holds him up against the cage and eventually McGee drops back down to his feet.

And an attempted straight right on the counter from Three! But no joy.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
McGee tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Three defends well and McGee ends up having to push Three into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.

McGee is trying to drag Three to the mat but Three just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there.

Three receives a warning from the referee for stalling.
McGee wants a takedown.
McGee is trying to break the clinch but Three is controlling him.
Three lands with a right to the head.
Three throws a punch but it's blocked by McGee.
Three has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

McGee breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Three throws a leg kick but he was too far away and it doesn't land.
Three throws a jab but it's blocked by McGee.
McGee slips a jab and a cross from Three.
Mitch McGee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

McGee has a takedown stuffed.
Three slips a jab from McGee.
McGee scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Three is really struggling to land any decent head shots against his taller opponent.

McGee shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Three napping and manages to drive through into side control!
Three can't do much from the bottom here.
Three tries to control but McGee manages to take his back.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Three trying to control the action but McGee just sinks the hooks in.

McGee is looking for the choke from the back position but Three is controlling his hands well.
McGee has his opponent trapped and is landing shots. Not a good position for Three.
Three tries to roll but McGee sticks to his back.

Three just trying to survive but McGee is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
Three grimaces as he takes a shot to the body.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

McGee is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Three knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Three for a finish.
Three trying to control but he's just got himself in more trouble.
Three is really stuck here.
Three looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
Three really doesn't want to stay on the ground with McGee. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Three rolls, trying to escape but McGee keeps control of the position.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! And we move into the final round!

McGee throws a series of strikes that have Three backpedaling.

McGee drags the fight down to the ground.
Three trying to control the position from guard on top but McGee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
McGee lands a couple of shots from the bottom.
Three trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.

Three drops back, looking for a kneebar! McGee looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. McGee looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from McGee!

Three tries to bench press McGee off him but McGee keeps the position.

Three takes a couple of big shots there - the referee warns him that he has to defend himself better.
McGee works to advance to full mount. Three defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs.
Three really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
McGee postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Three in real trouble here! The ref calls for Three to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Mitch McGee!
