Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Daniel Damndam (ranked 25053 p4p, 5039 weight class) and Jeremy Hunter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Damndam comes to the cage accompanied by Gdzie Jest Bialy Wegorz. Daniel Damndam has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Daniel Damndam!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jeremy Hunter!
The judges for this bout are Ian Loll, William Peck and Trevor Gratis.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Damndam fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Hunter avoids it really well and circles away.

Damndam changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hunter looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
Hunter tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops.

Damndam is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Hunter has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Hunter just trying to survive but Damndam is wriggling into a better position, looking to finish.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Hunter is keeping busy.
Hunter looks to control his opponent's hands but he's not mananging it at the moment.
You know, I was talking to some of our celebrities at ringside tonight and they were split right down the middle on who was going to win this fight.
Hunter is trying to stand back up.
Hunter trying to control the hands but Damndam breaks the grip.

The crowd are showing their displeasure at the lack of action as loud boos ring out around the arena.
Hunter tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell!
Hunter tries to lock up and control but Damndam gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Damndam has his opponent pinned against the cage, landing some nasty ground and pound that is really making a bit of a mess out of Hunter's face.
Hunter tries to reverse the position but Damndam maintains control.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Damndam sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Damndam has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Hunter is trying to escape the mount.

Damndam controlling the pace for now.
Hunter tries to hold on but Damndam postures up.
Hunter slips a leg in and gets back to half guard.
Hunter manages to get to full guard.

Hunter has his foot on Damndam's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Damndam works his way back into a safe position though.
And that is the end of the round. The fighters go back to their corners.

Hunter shoots in looking for a takedown but Damndam manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Hunter's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
A combination from Damndam does no damage.

Damndam really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Damndam has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Hunter regains guard immediately.

Hunter is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
Hunter is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Damndam will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.

Damndam wants to stand but Hunter has a closed guard, so he can't escape.

If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.

The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Hunter is defended easily by Damndam.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
Damndam fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Damndam moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromHunter.
Hunter blocks a head kick by Damndam.
Damndam gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily
and Hunter counters with a one-two to the body.

Damndam appears to be looking for a big counter.

Hunter tries a head kick but it misses.

Damndam closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Hunter quickly recovers to half guard.
Hunter is breathing heavily.

Damndam is sneakily working for an arm triangle but Hunter sees it coming and defends easily.
Still in half guard, Damndam seems content to control.

Damndam seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Hunter wants to get back to full guard but Damndam has passed into side control.
Damndam works a knee to the body and follows up with a nice elbow to the head.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Hunter is positioning himself to get back to half guard.
Damndam advances to full mount.
Hunter wants to control but Damndam is having none of it.
Damndam fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!

Hunter shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Damndam pinned against the cage. Damndam gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
Damndam goes for a double leg but Hunter avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hunter continues to drive forward.
Damndam is trying to pull guard but Hunter has him pressed against the cage.

Hunter is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Damndam is controlling him.

Hunter wants to get back to his feet.

Damndam closes the distance and gets a double leg, slamming Hunter to the mat! Hunter manages to get full guard.
Hunter takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Damndam postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
Damndam is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions.
Damndam would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard.
Damndam slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
Damndam in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows.
Hunter striking from the bottom but nothing landed.
Hunter tries to improve position but can't.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Damndam tries to cartwheel into mount but he doesn't manage it.
Damndam content to control the pace. The referee will try and keep them active though.

Well I reckon that's a shut out for Damndam, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
