Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Manco Capac (ranked 1377 p4p, 1478 weight class) and Ispa Perkele (ranked 199 p4p, 217 weight class). Capac comes into the arena with Iggy Pop - The Passenger blaring out of the sound system. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Manco Capac!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 9 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ispa Perkele!
The judges for this bout are Paulsen Ambrosius, Aafke Stam and Nard Betker.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Capac will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
A punch combination from Capac misses.
Capac getting the better of the striking in that exchange.
Perkele connects with an inside leg kick.
Perkele drops his hands momentarily and Capac takes advantage with a crisp shot to the head.
Capac defending well as Perkele loads up on a big left hand.
Perkele swings and misses with a hook to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Capac just misses with a punch to the body.
Capac throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Capac throws a nice looking combination but Perkele bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Perkele has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout.
Capac ducks down and throws a hook to the body.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Perkele throws an overhand right that lands on Capac's shoulder, as Capac tries to avoid the shot.
Perkele scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Perkele fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Capac manages to avoid it.
Capac comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Perkele connects with a right hand. Capac shakes it off.
It looks like Manco Capac has been cut.
Perkele ducks right into an uppercut from Capac.
Perkele throws a shot to the body.
Perkele bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Perkele is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Capac with a body shot.
Perkele slips under a jab.
A countering left hand to the body from Perkele misses.
Capac waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Perkele.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Perkele throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Capac counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Capac seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.
Capac throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Perkele sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Perkele takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Perkele moves into range and clinches up with Capac.
Capac dictating the pace here, as the fighters clinch against the cage.
Perkele misses with a punch to the body.
A nice right hand lands inside from Perkele.
Still in the clinch, Capac scores with a nice short uppercut.
Capac swings wildly with an uppercut but Perkele uses good head movement to avoid it.
Perkele tries to throw a body punch but Capac avoids it by throwing Perkele back against the cage.
Perkele goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
An uppercut on the inside fails to land for Capac.
Perkele lands with a short head shot on the inside.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Capac missing with knees to the body.
Capac misses with the head strike.
Perkele lands a nice uppercut.
Perkele prevents a body shot from Capac.
Capac is trying to maintain a safe position but Perkele gets an underhook and turns Capac into the cage.
A short right hand to the side of the head by Perkele.
Perkele lands on the inside with an uppercut.
Capac pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Perkele misses with a low kick.
Perkele moves into the clinch successfully.
Perkele lands a left hand.
Capac is rocked!
Perkele dips a shoulder and cracks Capac with a mighty uppercut! Capac falls back against the cage and Perkele unloads with a barrage of strikes! Capac is completely out with his eyes open, only supported by the cage! Save him ref! Eventually the ref decides to do his job and jumps in - Perkele screams abuse at the incompetent official before going over to celebrate with his corner. Brutal stuff!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:52 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Ispa Perkele!
A very excited looking Ispa Perkele made sure he remembered to thank all the fans both in the arena and on the internet. He said all the coolest people spend all day on MMA websites, which got a big reaction.
