Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Rikuto Ryuunosuke (ranked 1399 p4p, 1972 weight class) and Nou Hematopoye (ranked 164 p4p, 211 weight class). Ryuunosuke's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, You Wa Shock. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Rikuto Ryuunosuke!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Nou Hematopoye!
The judges for this bout are Patrick Alders, Radbod Blank and Albert Achterberg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Ryuunosuke tries to clinch but Hematopoye moves away
and Ryuunosuke takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Ryuunosuke is looking to clinch but Hematopoye is avoiding it.
Hematopoye looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.
Ryuunosuke moves in looking to clinch but Hematopoye pushes him off.
It seemed like Hematopoye was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Ryuunosuke tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hematopoye manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ryuunosuke fails with an attempt to clinch.

and Hematopoye connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.
Hematopoye takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

A nice side step and Hematopoye releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.
Ryuunosuke tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Hematopoye manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Ryuunosuke lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Hematopoye circles away quickly and effectively.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Rikuto Ryuunosuke seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Ryuunosuke wants to clinch up but Hematopoye keeps it at a distance.
The fight stays on the outside here - Ryuunosuke looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Ryuunosuke takes one on the chin but keeps coming.

Hematopoye's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ryuunosuke under the eye.
It looks like Rikuto Ryuunosuke has been cut.
Ryuunosuke doesn't manage to clinch there - Hematopoye circles away.
Hematopoye doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter.
Ryuunosuke tries to clinch but Hematopoye is having none of it.
Hematopoye unleashes a big counter combination but Ryuunosuke bobs and weaves and avoids any damage.
Ryuunosuke clinches up with Hematopoye and pushes him back against the cage.
Hematopoye escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

and Hematopoye counters with a stiff right hand.
Ryuunosuke tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hematopoye paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Hematopoye tries to keep at a distance but Ryuunosuke has taken the fight into the clinch.
Hematopoye breaks from the clinch.
Hematopoye scores with a punch to the gut of his opponent.
Ryuunosuke takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.

Hematopoye breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Ryuunosuke doesn't manage to clinch there - Hematopoye circles away.
Hematopoye goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.

Ryuunosuke wants to clinch up but Hematopoye keeps it at a distance.
Oh Ryuunosuke is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
I'm just looking down at my notes here and I see that.... oh! Hematopoye has cracked Ryuunosuke with a big right, followed by a left! He's out on his feet! Hematopoye lands another huge swinging hook and Ryuunosuke tumbles to the canvas! The ref dives in to save Ryuunosuke, before Hematopoye can land any more shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Nou Hematopoye!
Our winner, Nou Hematopoye, made sure he spent some time buttering up the crowd during his post fight interview, which will no doubt bring him a few more fans.
