The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight.
Kurtz connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Magomedov momentarily.

It looks like Khabib Magomedov has been cut.

Kurtz fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Magomedov manages to avoid it.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.

That has opened up Khabib Magomedov's cut even more.
Kurtz is pushing Magomedov up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word.
Kurtz wants to get back to striking at distance but Magomedov won't allow it.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Magomedov holds on and takes a little breather.

Kurtz lands a big head kick that sends Magomedov tumbling to the mat! Kurtz takes a step backwards and waves Magomedov back to his feet - he wants the finish!

Kurtz connects with a nice cross there... Magomedov is looking wobbly and Kurtz recognises it - he's rushed in and lands two more brutal shots that send Magomedov to the canvas, out cold! A brutal finish to the fight - Kurtz jumps onto the cage to celebrate with the crowd!
