Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Volodymyr Pravda (ranked 2339 p4p, 1344 weight class) and Paulo Correia (ranked 277 p4p, 159 weight class). Pravda's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Korobushka. Volodymyr Pravda could well score a knockout today. He has the power to get to Paulo Correia's chin.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Correia on the wrong end of a nice hook.
A left lands for Correia.
Correia misses with a wild combination.
Pravda thuds his shin into the meat of Correia's side.
Correia throws a looping overhand right but Pravda ducks down to avoid it.

No joy there for Pravda, who threw a few shots but didn't land.

Pravda darts in looking for a takedown but Correia gets double underhooks and turns Pravda into the cage.
Correia looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pravda breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.

We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake.

Pravda is trying to control the action in half guard but Correia is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

Correia tries to roll over but Pravda keeps him under control.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Pravda in particular looking to stall.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Pravda is trying to control. Correia wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.
Correia is looking for a sweep. Pravda is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.
Correia has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Pravda is working away from the top position though.
Correia slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work.
Pravda wants to control from the top but Correia keeps moving.
A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Correia holds on and takes a little breather.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.

Pravda shoots in for a takedown but Correia shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

The referee is keeping an eye on Pravda - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Correia fails to pull the fight into his guard.

Pravda breaks the clinch.
A swing and a miss from Correia.
Pravda changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Correia tries to avoid it but Pravda manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Correia to the ground. Correia escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Correia's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Correia duly obliges.
Volodymyr Pravda is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.
Correia throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Pravda sees it coming and avoids it easily.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Correia drops Pravda with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Pravda looks back up at him and smiles so Correia waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Pravda is rocked!
Correia shakes his hands by his side, trying to relax. Pravda takes his eyes off the ball for a moment - Correia sees the opportunity and cracks him with a massive hook! Pravda bends double and collapses on top of himself - he's out! The crowd are going absolutely nuts! Wow, what a knockout!

A less than humble Paulo Correia misjudged his post fight interview somewhat and came across a little too arrogant whilst trying to hype up his own abilities.
