Coming up we have a heavyweight kickboxing rules bout between Antonio Jose De Sucre (ranked 23323 p4p, 2821 weight class) and Larry Shreve Jr (ranked 610 p4p, 309 weight class). De Sucre comes to the ring accompanied by Bolivianos el Hado Propicio. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

De Sucre steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shreve Jr.
Shreve Jr's coach down at Slaughter Houze was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Shreve Jr's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Shreve Jr gets a clinch.
Shreve Jr tried to land a shot to the body but connects with De Sucre's elbow.
Both guys are working to get underhooks.

Shreve Jr throws a head punch that misses.
De Sucre is trying to push Shreve Jr away but Shreve Jr has him pressed against the ropes, so he's going nowhere.

Shreve Jr breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts De Sucre, as that shot connected.
Shreve Jr blocks a jab.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
De Sucre throws a right hand that misses
and Shreve Jr counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Shreve Jr lands with a kick to the temple. De Sucre shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?"

De Sucre stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Shreve Jr.
Shreve Jr throws a nice outside leg kick.
De Sucre takes a hook to the side of the head. I wonder if that's got his ears ringing.

De Sucre is rocked!
De Sucre misses with a hook. Shreve Jr ducked under it nicely.
Oh De Sucre is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shreve Jr dodges the punch combination from De Sucre.
De Sucre seems to have got his legs back now.
De Sucre throws a hook but Shreve Jr avoids it easily.
Shreve Jr fakes a jab and scores with a low kick.
Shreve Jr slips a straight right by De Sucre.
De Sucre walks straight into devastating uppercut and drops to the floor, clearly wobbled! Can he beat the count? 4,5,6,7... he's up! And he's down again! The ref steps in and calls an end to the fight! What a punch that was!
