Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Liam Walker (ranked 3205 p4p, 2750 weight class) and Luke Valentine (ranked 407 p4p, 359 weight class). The crowd seem to be enjoying Valentine's choice of entrance music: Jack Stauber - Buttercup. Both fighter's entrance songs getting the crowd jumping here.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Liam Walker!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 3 - 0, fighting out of London, Luke Valentine!
The judges for this bout are David Schapiro, Lou da Vinci and Russell Pearce.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Valentine swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Valentine looks to score with a jab to the body but Walker is just out of range.
Walker walks into a jab.
The fighters circle momentarily. Walker darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
The crowd cheers as Valentine lands an impressive looking overhand right. Walker doesn't seem phased though.
Walker bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Walker throws a poor cross that misses
and Valentine cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Walker misses with an uppercut
and Walker takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Walker looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Valentine is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Walker.
Valentine ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Walker swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Valentine will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Walker throws a leg kick which misses Valentine's front leg but catches the back leg as Valentine tries to avoid it.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Walker fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Valentine has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage.
Valentine takes one on the chin but seems OK.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Valentine throws a body shot but no joy.
Walker misses with an uppercut
and Valentine counters with a left right combination that sends Walker crashing to the mat - Valentine wastes no time in diving on top of him and pounding Walker out for a TKO! Devastating finish!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:13 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Luke Valentine!
Luke Valentine decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
