Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Jesus Chico Grande (ranked 378 p4p, 795 weight class) and James Quin (ranked 47 p4p, 102 weight class). Grande comes into the arena with Dead By Dawn by Deicide blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Grande swings and misses with a hook to the body.
A slow jab from Grande misses its intended target.
Grande moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Quin showing good head movement there, avoiding the strikes from Grande.
Grande scores with a jab to the jaw.
Grande throws a hook but Quin avoids it easily.
Quin slips under a jab from Grande.
Quin swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made.
Nice uppercut there from Grande.
Quin loads up on a big right hand but Grande slips the punch.
Grande throws a lazy right hand but Quin sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
Quin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Grande tries to throw a body punch but Quin avoids it by throwing Grande back against the cage.
Grande tries to work over Quin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.

Grande lands a left hand that snaps the head of Quin backwards.
Quin throws a punch but it's blocked by Grande.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Quin creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
Grande tries to throw a body punch but Quin avoids it by throwing Grande back against the cage.

Grande swings wildly with an uppercut but Quin uses good head movement to avoid it.
Grande blocks an uppercut.
Quin misses with a hook from the clinch.
Grande swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Quin tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Grande just stands there and leans against the cage.
Grande tries a body shot but Quin blocks it.
Grande tries to work over Quin's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target.
Quin lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Quin manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back.
Grande wants to stand but Quin is controlling his posture from full guard.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Quin working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Grande doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Quin is tightening it up a little... Grande has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Grande reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Grande taps out! Nice BJJ there by Quin!
