Decimal comes into the arena with The Dewey Decimal Rap blaring out of the sound system. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 11 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Dewey Decimal!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 6 - 7 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Joe Hooks!
The judges for this bout are Ryoma Takatsuka, Paul Gruel and Micheangelo Fripello.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Decimal goes for a double leg but Hooks avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Hooks continues to drive forward.
Hooks blocks an uppercut.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Decimal creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.

Hooks's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Hooks misses with a few strikes there.
Decimal misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out.
Hooks throws a series of strikes that have Decimal backpedaling.

It looks like Dewey Decimal has been cut.
Joe Hooks seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Hooks throws a series of punches but Decimal avoids them all with ease.
Hooks misses with a series of wild punches.
Hooks is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Decimal.
Hooks misses with a double jab

and Decimal moves into the clinch.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!

Hooks breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Decimal takes a punch to the jaw and another one to the bread basket.

A jab-cross combination lands for Hooks and sends Decimal crashing to the mat! Hooks follows him down to the mat - Decimal regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet!

Decimal is rocked!

Decimal looking for submissions off his back.
Oh Decimal is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Hooks is thwarting Decimal's attempts to control the position.

Decimal looking to work for a kimura from the bottom.
Decimal seems to have got his legs back now.
Decimal wants to get back to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Hooks is trying to get back to his feet now but his leg is trapped.

Decimal has a closed guard, preventing Hooks from standing up.
Decimal wants to sweep but no luck.

Decimal is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle.
Decimal looking to hit a scissor sweep but Hooks is one step ahead there.

Decimal looking for a triangle here. Hooks is fighting it but it looks tight! Decimal pulls the arm across and this one won't last much longer! Nope, Hooks is tapping out - this one is all over!
