Coming up we have a super heavyweight MMA rules bout between Dodong Santiago (ranked 2929 p4p, 2928 weight class) and Paul Starker (ranked 120 p4p, 112 weight class). Santiago comes to the cage accompanied by i just want it all. Starker comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Catrin O'Neill - Ar Lan Y Mor kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 14 - 11 - 0, fighting out of New York, Dodong Santiago!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 27 - 24 - 0, fighting out of New York, Paul Starker!
The judges for this bout are Percy O'Donnell, Frank Antenori and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Santiago looks to land a left hand but Starker moved out of range nicely.
Starker looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Santiago thows a left - swing and a miss!
Starker tries to counter with a clinch but Santiago shakes him off and moves away.
Santiago throws a nice looking combination but Starker bobs and weaves to avoid any damage.
Starker darts in looking for a takedown but Santiago gets double underhooks and turns Starker into the cage.
Starker lands a jab followed by a nice looking cross.
It looks like Dodong Santiago has been cut.
Paul Starker seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Santiago fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Starker looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.
Starker is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
A low kick lands for Starker.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Santiago misses with a series of wild punches.
Santiago dodges the punch combination from Starker.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Starker feints a jab promting Santiago to slip. Starker then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Santiago slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Starker looks to land a combination. Santiago sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.
Starker gets cracked there but stands up to it.
It looks like Paul Starker has been cut.
Santiago circles away from the clinch attempt.
The fighters circle momentarily. Santiago darts into range and connects with a nice straight punch.
Starker pushes Santiago up against the cage in a clinch.
Santiago swings wildly with an uppercut but Starker uses good head movement to avoid it.

Starker tries to land knees in the clinch but Santiago avoids the damage to the body.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Santiago pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.

Santiago scores with a jab. Starker acknowledges it with a nod of the head.
