Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Jay Cartwright (ranked 1987 p4p, 3305 weight class) and Augusto Silva (ranked 100 p4p, 152 weight class). The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the bantamweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 6 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Jay Cartwright!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Augusto Silva!
The judges for this bout are Felipe Paraventi, Luis Engracia and Thiago Cunha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Cartwright feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.

Cartwright stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Silva swivels though and keeps the full guard.

Cartwright isolates an arm and boxes in a triangle. Silva stacks Cartwright on his neck as he steps over and passes to the side. He's now in a much more dominant position where he can look to do some serious damage. Nice move by Silva!
