Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Yuri Gagarin (ranked 3468 p4p, 5386 weight class) and Jean Blanc (ranked 373 p4p, 504 weight class). Jean Blanc has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Jean Blanc!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gagarin lands with an overhand left.
Gagarin throws a combination. Blanc tries to block but a couple of punches get through.
Gagarin lands a really nice looking cross but Blanc seems unphased.
Gagarin seems to be moving with more speed, compared to his last bout. He must have been working on that in the gym.

Blanc scores with a takedown into Gagarin's guard.
Blanc postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Gagarin looking to hit a scissor sweep but Blanc is one step ahead there.

Blanc stands and steps away. Gagarin gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Gagarin's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Gagarin duly obliges.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Gagarin throws a right hand that Blanc ducks under and follows up with a left that Blanc also avoids with ease.
Gagarin will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Blanc's coach down at Puncher's Chance Collective was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Blanc's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Gagarin's corner calls for a 1-2. Gagarin obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range.
Gagarin cracks Blanc with a nice right hand that draws applause from the crowd.

Gagarin connects with a jab, followed by a picture perfect straight right that sends Blanc to the canvas, out cold! What a finish by Gagarin!

Yuri Gagarin was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.
