The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice defenses there by Cerrahoglu.
Cerrahoglu drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Morrison defends it well.
Cerrahoglu is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Ergun Cerrahoglu seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Cerrahoglu throws an ugly left hook that misses
and Morrison counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Cerrahoglu thinking.

Cerrahoglu looking for a takedown here - he's got it.

Morrison has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Cerrahoglu off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.
Cerrahoglu tries to clinch up
and Morrison cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Cerrahoglu is looking to clinch but Morrison is avoiding it.

Cerrahoglu closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Morrison quickly recovers to half guard.

Morrison wants to sweep but no luck.
Cerrahoglu not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

Cerrahoglu stands up from Morrison's guard - Cerrahoglu perhaps looking for a knockout.

Cerrahoglu shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Morrison throws a big counter combination but Cerrahoglu scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage.

Cerrahoglu rushes Morrison and pushes him back against the cage in a clinch.
Cerrahoglu jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Morrison walks away with a smile on his face. Cerrahoglu gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
Richard Morrison has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Ergun Cerrahoglu.
Cerrahoglu fails in his attempt to clinch.
Morrison throws out a powerful jab.

and Morrison connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Morrison circles away from the clinch attempt
and Morrison rattles Cerrahoglu with a well-timed uppercut counter. - Cerrahoglu tries to back away and recover but his hands are down low and he gets tagged again, sending him stumbling down to the canvas. Morrison dives in after him and quickly finishes the job with a trio of brutal punches, leaving Cerrahoglu stiff and motionless on the mat!
