Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Fletch Brandis (ranked 19830 p4p, 20237 weight class) and Yogi Adi (ranked 597 p4p, 594 weight class). And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Yogi Adi!
The judges for this bout are Yukihiro Yamamoto, Taro Takaoka and Tatsuya Matsuyama.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Some bone on bone action there as Brandis checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one.
Brandis went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.

Brandis sends Adi crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Brandis is motioning to the referee to let Adi up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet!

It looks like Yogi Adi has been cut.
Adi is looking to clinch but Brandis is avoiding it.
Adi misses with the combination.

Brandis drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Brandis's corner is telling him to maintain position.
Brandis has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
Brandis stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Adi swivels though and keeps the full guard.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Brandis slips nicely into half guard.
Brandis is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Adi!
Adi is just holding on here. Brandis manages to take his back.

Brandis sinks in the hooks and is looking for the choke. He's got it! Adi taps out!
