PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Shen Po (ranked 458 p4p, 325 weight class) and Third Eye (ranked 57 p4p, 38 weight class). Po's ring entrance music is that housewives' favourite, Ei-tetsu Hayashi & 木下伸市. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Steve Erwin, Bruno Hogan and Darius Henderson.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eye lands a body shot.

The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!

Po fakes and then throws a beautiful body shot. Eye looks a bit winded and takes a step backwards to take a breath.

Po closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth.

Third Eye has got the better of the ground game so far.
Po wants to control but Eye is keeping him busy.

Po thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.

That was a close second round but I would say that Shen Po will probably get the nod.
That's time! Po's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!

Po shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Let's see what he's got on the mat.
Eye is looking to stand back up... there's a bit of a scramble and Po dives into side control.

Eye regains half guard.
Po seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Eye does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.

Po wants to work for an arm triangle but Eye is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!

I would just about give that final round to Third Eye.
Well Eye has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
