The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sparrow scores with a nice head shot.

It looks like Sam Cooper has been cut.
Sparrow swings away with a body shot that misses
and Cooper counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.

It looks like Jack Sparrow has been cut.
Cooper connects with a lovely right hand, straight down the pipe.
Cooper lands with a cross to side of his opponent's head.

Sparrow is rocked!
Cooper misses with a wild body shot.
Sparrow fails with an attempt to clinch.
Sparrow paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Sparrow defending well as Cooper loads up on a big left hand.
Sparrow throws a jab but it's blocked by Cooper.
Cooper digs a good body shot into Sparrow's ribs.
Cooper moves out of range as Sparrow strikes.
Sparrow tries to bum rush Cooper with a series of wild strikes but Cooper uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Jack Sparrow seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Sparrow tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Cooper was well out of range. Poor timing from Sparrow.
Nice body punch from Cooper.

Cooper cracks Sparrow with a big right hand that sends him to the floor! Sparrow looks wobbly but he's sprung back up to his feet straight away… can Cooper finish him?
Oh Sparrow is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
Cooper punishes Sparrow's body with a nice straight punch.
Sparrow is breathing heavily.
Cooper scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Sparrow doesn't seem bothered though.
Sparrow seems to have got his legs back now.
Cooper drops Sparrow with a naaaaasty hook - Sparrow is in real trouble here! Cooper dives in to side control and pounds out his opponent for a TKO victory! The crowd goes nuts!
