PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Theros War (ranked 3559 p4p, 23384 weight class) and Bruce Li (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Li has chosen Space Cowboy as his entrance music. I don't know about you partner, but I'm pumped for this one!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Theros War!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 8 - 0, fighting out of London, Bruce Li!
The judges for this bout are William Gold, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Li drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.

It looks like Bruce Li has been cut.
Li uses good head movement to avoid the hook from War.
Li staying out of range there.
Li looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Li avoids a lazy jab quite easily.
War throws out a token jab with nothing on it.

War drops Li with a hook right on the temple. He thinks about going to the ground but Li looks back up at him and smiles so War waves him back to his feet - he obviously thinks he can knock him out after that shot landed.

Li is rocked!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Li is wiping some vaseline out of his eye. War doesn't give a rats ass about fair play and cracks him with a massive hook to the side of the head! Li crumples to the floor out cold! The cornerman is going to be in Li's bad books for that mishap!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:24 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Theros War!
Bruce Li was interviewed post fight and said 'Hey, man, wait for me, we'll meet again. I have to rush back to a new training session.'.
