PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Cedric Lancaster (ranked 792 p4p, 841 weight class) and Cal Klos (ranked 108 p4p, 117 weight class). Klos comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Our Father Enki kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Klos misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Klos lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Lancaster circles away quickly and effectively.
No joy there for Klos, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A little feinted left hand from Lancaster on the counter but he doesn't commit to it.

A quick step to the side and Lancaster tries to counter with a shot to the body but it doesn't connect.

Cal Klos seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Klos crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Lancaster - the referee stops the clock and Klos gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Lancaster . Klos manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
