PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Paul Raver (ranked 4455 p4p, 5334 weight class) and The Undertaker (ranked 537 p4p, 580 weight class). The Undertaker will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Paul Raver!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, The Undertaker!
The judges for this bout are Aleksei Zolotukhin, Dmitry Maklakov and Illya Tyunina.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Undertaker is looking to clinch.

Raver fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Undertaker sprawls well initially but Raver persists and gets the takedown into half guard.
Undertaker wants to improve his position but Raver is controlling well.
Raver stops Undertaker from getting back to his feet.

Undertaker is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Undertaker tries to lock up and control but Raver gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.

Undertaker might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Raver haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Raver stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Raver wants it to stay on the feet.

Raver manages to get an easy takedown there - catching Undertaker on his heels. He'll look to pass Undertaker's guard now, I'm sure.
Raver might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
