Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Raw Smoker (ranked 2882 p4p, 1904 weight class) and Mike Green (ranked 355 p4p, 246 weight class). Mike Green will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

and Green counters with a lovely straight right hand!

It looks like Raw Smoker has been cut.

Smoker decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Green keeps control of the position for the meantime.
Smoker slips a nice elbow through Green's hands, connecting with Green's forehead.
Green tries to kick Smoker off but Smoker keeps his base steady and stays in half guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

The referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

Smoker shoots in for a double leg but Green sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Green looked like he wanted to counter with a punch but didn't throw it.

Green drops Smoker with a huge uppercut! Smoker drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes. Green is raining down punches and the ref stops the fight! This one is all over!

A relieved looking Mike Green thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
