Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Nav Sohaili (ranked 4673 p4p, 4478 weight class) and Kung Lee (ranked 0 p4p, 520 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Nav Sohaili!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Kung Lee!
The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Aleksandr Martynov and Vladimir Khabensky.

Lee gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Sohaili on the defensive, avoiding the knees to the body.

Lee gets a trip takedown into half guard.
Sohaili throws a strike from the bottom that misses.
Sohaili is trying is best to control the position here.
Lee is nestled in close to Sohaili, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
It looks like Lee is going to stand back up.
Sohaili on the receiving end of some nice ground and pound.
Sohaili has hold of Lee's hands but Lee slips his arm to the side and lands an elbow.
Lee is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Sohaili is not content to let Lee control the position.
Sohaili wants to control but Lee is keeping busy.

Sohaili is trying to stand up here but Lee is controlling him well.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Sohaili has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Lee is working away from the top position though.
Lee seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Sohaili does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back.
Sohaili moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard.
Lee not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Sohaili pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lee is keeping the position for now.

Lee is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Sohaili is looking to work some ground and pound but Lee has wrist control.
Sohaili trying to control the position from guard on top but Lee is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Sohaili won't allow Lee to get back to his feet.

The ref stands the fighters back up due to a lack of activity.
Lee looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sohaili does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Sohaili tries for a takedown but Lee sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Lee fails with a takedown attempt.
A looping hook to the body misses from Sohaili. Lee does a little dance to reset his feet.

and Lee counters with a shoot takedown. Sohaili fights it but they end up in guard.

Sohaili is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Sohaili keeping moving, preventing Lee from controlling successfully.
Lee might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Sohaili haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.

Sohaili is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Lee is controlling him.

Sohaili is actively looking for submissions from his back. He's worked himself a little space on the bottom and seems to be going for a triangle. No, he's switched into an armbar! That was slick! Lee rolls with it to try and escape but Sohaili cranks on the arm and Lee is forced to tap out! This one is aaaaaaaaall over!
