Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between David Jones (ranked 2185 p4p, 3920 weight class) and Beau Canada (ranked 84 p4p, 0 weight class). Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

Canada takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.
We've been informed that Canada has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.
Canada moves away from the strike by Jones.
Jones lands a really nice looking cross but Canada seems unphased.
It looks like Beau Canada has been cut.
Canada slips under a jab.
Canada wants to counter with a clinch but Jones pushes him away.
Jones throws a shot from downtown. Canada moves away and avoids it.

Canada pushes Jones back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head.

Canada wants to take the fight to the mat but Jones manages to get underhooks and keep the fight in the clinch.

Jones tries to circle away but Canada has him pinned against the cage.

Canada has Jones pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Jones manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing.
David Jones has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Beau Canada.

Canada's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.

Canada keeps Jones at a distance using the push kick.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Beau Canada dominated that round.
Both fighters have cut men working on them during the interval.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Jones sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
Jones is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Canada.
Canada drops Jones with a right and a left! Canada comes rushing in but Jones regains his composure and manages to keep Canada in guard.
Jones is rocked!
Canada arches his back and unloads with a massive left and a right! Jones's eyes roll back into his head, he's out cold! The ref dives in to stop the fight - wow, they were hard shots!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:32 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Strikes). Beau Canada!
