Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Matsu Shitzu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Josh Wentworth (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Wentworth has chosen Spitfire by The Prodigy as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Shitzu fails to land with a series of punches.
Wentworth walks forward and throws out a flicking leg kick. Shitzu checks it nicely though, as he moves to the side.
Shitzu swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
A swing and a miss from Shitzu.
Wentworth steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Shitzu.
Shitzu checks the leg kick nicely there.
Shitzu throws a right hand that Wentworth ducks under and follows up with a left that Wentworth also avoids with ease.
Shitzu throws the left hand but Wentworth avoids the punch easily.
Shitzu stuffs the takedown attempt from Wentworth. Wentworth gets slowly back to his feet.
Shitzu throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Shitzu wants to land a leg kick but Wentworth is out of range.

Shitzu tries to keep at a distance but Wentworth has taken the fight into the clinch.
Wentworth missing with knees to the body.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Shitzu tries to pull guard but Wentworth won't allow it.
Shitzu fails to pull guard.

Wentworth has moved round to his opponent's back and is looking for a suplex! Oh snap! He's tossed Shitzu clear over his head and slammed him to the mat!

Wentworth lands with a nice looking elbow that stuns Shitzu.
Shitzu trying to control the position but Wentworth manages to sink in the hooks.
Shitzu is in a bad position, trying to hold on for dear life but he is really struggling to maintain any sort of control.
Shitzu rolls and manages to get back to half guard. Nicely done.
Shitzu trying to control but Wentworth postures up.
Wentworth prevents Shitzu from improving his position.
Wentworth working Shitzu over with strikes.
Wentworth not throwing his punches with enough precision this time.
Wentworth landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Shitzu is refusing to be controlled, as Wentworth sits in half guard.
Wentworth working over Shitzu with some ground and pound. Shitzu looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable.

Shitzu is not content to let Wentworth control the position.
Shitzu is trying to control but Wentworth manages to pass to mount!
Wentworth avoids the attempt from Shitzu to control.
Shitzu tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Shitzu is working hard here to advance position.
The fighters are tangled up in the ropes here. We might need a restart if the fighters can't break free themselves.
Wentworth fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Wentworth is working on an americana here. Ooh, that looks pretty nasty! Nope, Shitzu has managed to escape the submission attempt.
Wentworth is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Shitzu can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

Shitzu is rocked!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Shitzu can't escape the position.
Wentworth lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Shitzu takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.
Oh Shitzu is still in real trouble! Will he be able to recover?!!
Shitzu tries to hold on but Wentworth postures up.
Wentworth lands a big elbow - Shitzu is in trouble! More strikes from the mount and Shitzu is forced to tap out!
