Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Timiko Chen Lo (ranked 843 p4p, 1089 weight class) and Patrick River (ranked 117 p4p, 165 weight class). Chen Lo comes into the arena with Welcome to the Jungle blaring out of the sound system. River has chosen Pantera - Walk as his entrance music. Both fighters will be looking to make this an exciting fight for the fans, I'm sure!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 10 - 6 - 0, fighting out of New York, Patrick River!

River moves into side control, trying to work for a kimura. That looks painful! Will he finish!!?? No, Chen Lo has worked his arm free - good work by Chen Lo!

River rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Chen Lo moves out of range and avoids them all easily.

River will need to close the distance a bit before he attacks - that leg kick was thrown from too far away.

That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Timiko Chen Lo.
I think River has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

A relieved looking Patrick River thanked the fans for their support and gave the usual line about them being amazing. They seemed to believe that he actually meant it.
